The Boardroom

Your Board of Directors, without the boardroom. Structured, ongoing counsel across the whole business, with a monthly rhythm that turns good intentions into a track record of results.

The governance larger companies take for granted.

Plans fail quietly when everyone gets busy. A modest review rhythm beats an impressive strategy document nobody opens. Governance doesn't mean a formal boardroom. It means stepping above the daily noise to ask whether the business is on track, the risks are understood, and everyone's doing what was agreed.

It's nearly impossible to see your own business clearly from the inside. The Boardroom gives you an experienced outside view, a regular decision-making rhythm, and someone who asks the useful questions.

What's included

  • A monthly GM-style Boardroom Meeting, run to an agenda
  • Tracked actions and decisions, reviewed every month so nothing agreed quietly drops
  • Unlimited phone and email support between meetings
  • A quarterly strategic deep-dive that asks: are we still building the business we said we would?
  • Full notes and recommendations after every meeting
  • No lock-in contract
What changes

Built around three outcomes owners came for, and stayed for.

Goal achievement

A plan that doesn't disappear

A written plan with three priorities, clear owners and dates. Quarterly governance check-ins. Actions reviewed at every meeting, so nothing agreed ever just drops.

Productivity

The whole business in twenty minutes

A GM-style report that shows the whole business at a glance in twenty minutes a month. Decisions made in the room, not stewing for weeks. Roles clarified, so fewer decisions come back to you.

Profit

Fewer costly calls at 11pm

A structured look at margin and pricing most owners have never had. A cash and pipeline view thirty, sixty and ninety days out, not just this week's worry.

The monthly agenda

What we look at, every month.

Taken straight from the management rhythm in Business Has Elbows. Simple enough to keep doing, thorough enough to catch problems early.

Revenue, gross margin and cash against planAre we making money, and is it turning into cash?
Leads, conversion, average order value and sourceMeasure the route, not the noise. Likes aren't leads.

Regular guidance and accountability gave us the confidence to grow, knowing we had experienced support when we needed it.

Questions

About The Boardroom.

Does a small business need an advisory board?

Not a formal one. But every owner benefits from what a good board provides: an outside view, a regular look at the numbers, and someone who asks whether what was agreed actually happened. The Boardroom gives you that rhythm without the formality.

Will Adrian become a director of my business?

No. The Boardroom is an advisory service. You keep control of every decision, and Adrian brings the outside view, the useful questions and the follow-up.

Why is the price 'from $995'?

The Boardroom starts at $995 per month plus GST for owners with a team of up to around ten. Larger or more complex businesses are scoped to suit, and the fee is agreed upfront before you begin.

Can I call between meetings?

Yes. Phone and email support between meetings is unlimited. If something can't wait for the next Boardroom Meeting, pick up the phone.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. As long as we're doing what you need, you keep paying the agreed rate. The moment that stops being true, walk away.
